That's a great question and one that I think about a lot. I believe I still would have left my job (spending extra time with my kids has been special) but in hindsight I would have maybe done a few things differently:
1. I would have waited at least another 6 months before jumping ship to stockpile some savings and gather a few more clients outside of my 9-to-5.
2. I would have established a budgeting routine to ensure we didn't overspend after leaving my job.
3. I would have made sure I had an actual, viable business (or product) ready to scale instead of starting from scratch.
All in all, I was young and impatient but the learning experience made it all worth it.
