I just found your work through Instagram and this post is spot on! I turn down clients (I build membership sites) because some believe a membership site is an ATM machine. This is the number 1 reason I know someone is in it for the wrong reasons. Membership sites are anything but passive.
I love that you also mention part 3. I tend to look for folks to work with who are in a service-based industry and are accustomed to personal touch points versus “hiding behind a screen.” Again, it’s not passive but adds a nice touch (no pun intended).
